How to change your phone number on TikTok

You entered your phone number on TikTok, but you won’t be using it in the future? This may be one of the reasons why you want to change your phone number in TikTok. Whatever the reason for changing the phone number in TikTok, it’s simple and clear. Just follow all the steps described in this article and you’re done. It’s as simple as that. Steps:

  1. First you need to open the TikTok application on your smartphone.
  2. Now go to the Application Profiles section. To do so, click on the profile icon at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. When you reach the application profile area, touch the icon with the three dots. You can find it in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. When you have done all this, you can see a new page (called Privacy and Settings) on the screen of the application. The list will contain many variants, subdivided into subcategories. In these categories, click on the Manage my account option under the account category.
  5. Then touch the phone number displayed on the application screen.
  6. You should now see that a dialog box appears on the application screen to check the phone number. You should also see the old phone number where the last digits are displayed.
  7. You must now click on the option Send code. To do this, send a one-time password (WBS) to the phone number previously displayed in the dialog box.
  8. To continue working, you must have access to messages received under your old phone number.
  9. Therefore, have the WBS sent to the old phone number and enter it in the WBS location on the search screen. If you have not received WBS, try sending the WBS again.
  10. Click on the button to check this WBS. This verification is important to prove that it is only your account.
  11. If the test is successful, only you can continue.
  12. After successful verification, you will be asked to enter a new phone number. Enter them in the appropriate edit box and click the Check button.
  13. The WBS will now be sent to the new phone number.
  14. Enter this TPP and click the button to check.
  15. If this check is also successful, your TikTok phone number will be changed.

Required application andSmartphone

You need to install the TikTok application on your smartphone to change the phone number in TikTok. If you do not have the TikTok application, you will need to download and install it before you can perform the steps in this article. If you’re using an Android smartphone, you’ll need to download and install the TikTok application from the Google Play Store, and if you’re using an iOS smartphone, you’ll need to go to the Apple App Store to download and install the TikTok application. You will also need a smartphone with one of the following operating systems:

  • Android 4.1 or higher
  • IOS 9.3 or higher
